I nasty

I gave the kids a bath after dinner tonight since Will's helping feed Kaela turned into Kaela being covered in yogurt. I give them their baths take them out and get Kaela dressed. Will is walking around with no diaper and says, 'Mama I potty." So I ask him, 'do you need to go potty?' He says I potty I potty, sure enough, he peed right there on the kitchen floor. So I say tell him we don't go potty on the floor we only go potty in the toilet or diapers, not the floor, "that's nasty".  His response? "I nasty." Not asking, not upset about it, just telling me in a 'well of course it's nasty, I'm nasty" kind of a way. It was quite funny.
Here's a pic of the little man thinking he's pretty cute after mom laughs at him...

Kaela after her bath just being her cute little self.

Hey Will...is that a Spiderman towel you have there? You are MY superhero! and Kaela...do you ever notice that only cute little girls and crazy old ladies can wear hot pink pants!!! Sarah...your "I nasty" story reminds me of the story about when YOU were on a canoe ride and just said with no hesitation "I FARTED" when you were about Will's age!! Hope to see you all soon.Love Aunt Shell

Oh that is hilarious! You never should have laughed though, there could be recurrent floor peeing episodes! Potty training these boys is definitely not for the faint of heart! Both Will and Kaela are adorable, as always!

OMG! It's funny but so typical of 2 1/2 year old boys. If I had one wish I may bypass the nice body and money for Preston to be toilet trained! (That gives me an idea for a post)....Kids are sooooo cute.
